Experienced Live in Carer in Leatherhead

We are looking for a friendly, proactive and compassionate Live-In Care Professional to support a client living in the KT22 area on a self-employed basis.

This role is focused on supporting someone in the earlier stages of dementia, where maintaining routine, companionship and staying active in the community are really important. We are looking for someone who enjoys getting out and about, planning daily outings, and helping someone continue to enjoy the things they love.

Our client would benefit from someone who is naturally sociable, enjoys conversation, and is happy to visit local cafés, go for walks, attend activities or simply get out of the house each day. Alongside this, you will also provide support at home to help keep things running smoothly.

Responsibilities

• Companionship and conversation

• Supporting daily outings and activities

• Driving to appointments, shops or local places of interest

• Personal care

• Meal preparation

• Light housekeeping

• Supporting with shopping and household organisation

This role would suit someone who is positive, engaging and enjoys helping someone stay connected to their local community and daily life.

• Live-in care: 2 years (preferred)

• Experience supporting people living with dementia (essential)
