PURPOSE OF THE ROLE
The Community Engagement & Marketing Officer plays a key role in growing Radfield Home Care by building strong relationships within the local community and promoting our services both face-to-face and digitally.
This role is not a care delivery role. It is suited to someone with a genuine understanding of the health and social care sector, who is confident in networking with professionals, creating digital content, and representing a premium care provider in the community.
You will work closely with the Registered Manager and wider leadership team to drive referrals, increase brand awareness, and support sustainable business growth.

Does require an understanding of the care sector
Applicants without experience or understanding of health and social care, or without experience creating digital content for business purposes, are unlikely to be shortlisted.
Principal Responsibilities
Increase brand awareness across Wakefield & Huddersfield
Represent Radfield Home Care professionally at community and networking events
Build and maintain relationships with health and social care professionals, including:Hospital discharge teams
Social workers
District nurses
GP practices
Social prescribing teams
Occupational therapists
Develop partnerships with community organisations, referral sources, and local stakeholders
Create and manage digital content across social media and other platforms
Produce newsletters, email campaigns, basic marketing materials and blog content
Identify and create opportunities for events that support engagement and referrals
Track and review marketing and engagement activity to demonstrate impact and ROI
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the care sector and local landscape
Support recruitment marketing by building relationships with referral partners
Any other duties appropriate to the role
Essential (Non-Negotiable)
Demonstrable understanding of the health & social care sector (e.g. domiciliary care)
Experience building professional relationships with external stakeholders
Experience creating and posting digital content for business use (e.g. social media, newsletters, campaigns)
Confident communicator, both face-to-face and in writing
Comfortable attending networking events and representing an organisation independently
Highly organised, self-motivated, and able to manage multiple activities
Professional manner and appearance
Full UK driving licence and access to own vehicle
Desirable
Previous experience working within domiciliary care or home care
Experience using CRM, design, or scheduling software
Marketing, communications, or community engagement experience within a regulated sector
OBLIGATIONS

This role requires contact with vulnerable clients and therefore all roles will be subject to enhanced DBS disclosure, a check against the Adult First register and satisfactory references from previous employers (or other suitable referees.)
