Job Title: Field Care Supervisor

Contract: Part Time - 15.5 Hours Per Week & Paid On-Call / Full Time

Salary: £12.96 Per Hour & Paid On-Call

Hours of Work:

Week 1 

Monday, Tuesday 7am-10am & On-Call 5pm-11pm, 

Saturday, Sunday 7am-10am & 5pm-10pm

Week 2 

Wednesday, Thursday, Friday 7am-10am & On-Call 5pm-11pm

We’re looking for a female Field Care Supervisor to join our growing team and support our mission to make ageing a more enjoyable and rewarding experience. 

We specialise in high quality care for elderly people wishing to remain living in their own home. Radfield Home Care has an excellent reputation because we place clients at the heart of what we do. We work very closely with our clients, their families and health care professionals to support our clients in the best possible way.

Working as part of a professional team delivering a high quality domiciliary care service, you will report to the Registered Manager and will take responsibility for the day to day management of operations in the field. You will undertake competency checks and will provide leadership and supervision to care staff across all areas of operations.

What we're looking for

• A full UK Driving Licence and prepared to take out business use insurance
• Experience of working for a domiciliary care agency and supporting vulnerable people
• Experience of mentoring and supporting new and existing members of a care team (including spot checks and competencies)
• Experience of using care planning software (apps), good level of IT skills for use of laptop
• Knowledge of the Care Quality Commission
• Able to be caring, sensitive and patient while supporting people to be as independent as possible
• Excellent literacy and numeracy skills to understand guidelines, policies and records etc.
• Ability to handle sensitive information and maintain discretion at all times
• Ability to listen and understand and respond to people, always putting the person that’s being supported first.

This post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974. The role requires contact with vulnerable clients and will be subject to enhanced DBS disclosure and satisfactory references.
